Office Receptionist

Basic Purpose & Objective of the Position:

Skills and requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience with outstanding telephone and professional skills.
  • Experience in routing incoming and outgoing calls and messages.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with the flexibility to handle changing priorities.
  • PC literacy with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in Mac a plus.
  • Upbeat personality.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • First point of contact with all guests including greeting of visitors, signing guests in and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Answer a multi-line phone system.
  • Distribute daily mail, receive all courier packages, review of freight billing, schedule messengers, prepare travel arrangements, accounting and administrative duties as required.
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Serve as back up to Order Entry.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

Education

Some college. 1+ to 5 years relevant work experience.
